Hello, I’m Cris, the proud Founder and Owner of Dolce Salon. I’m a seasoned Master Hair Stylist and Colorist, accomplished Makeup Artist, and dedicated Educator.

My journey in the beauty industry began at the age of 5, immersed in the lively atmosphere of a salon where I absorbed the transformative influence of my mother's work. In my early 20s, global travels became a catalyst for self-discovery, revealing my passion for creativity, knowledge, and education—qualities I was eager to share. The profound impact of beauty on a woman's confidence, self-esteem, and overall quality of life fueled my determination.

The virtues and talents of iconic figures like Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana, and Coco Chanel ignited my curiosity about the deeper meaning of beauty. After spending years in the Midwest telecommunications industry, I pursued my heart's calling, attending beauty school to become a manicurist, and propelling myself into a successful career as a nail technician.

In 2002, I returned to Texas, delving into the world of hair and makeup, and refining my skills in top Austin salons, including Saks Fifth Avenue. Behind the scenes of prestigious fashion shows and photo shoots for local magazines like Tribeza and Austin Monthly, I contributed to Austin's vibrant beauty scene. My expertise extended to aesthetics, makeup, and nails, shaping my vision for the dream salon I aspired to create.

Transitioning to Salon Si Beau of Westlake, I continued to elevate my experience in hair and makeup, and ventured into mastering the wedding industry. From a modest beginning, I now boast over a hundred weddings in my portfolio. Determination, ambition, and motivation steered me towards the realization of Dolce Salon in 2007, housed in a charming vintage building off of Lake Austin Blvd.

My commitment to excellence led me to enroll in numerous courses and certification programs, including an intensive cut and color training at Vivianne McKinder Hair Academy in New York City. My mastery extends to complex coloring techniques, artistic precision razor cutting, and specialization in various hair extension methods.

I excel in the realm of hair extensions, catering to both women and men with a diverse range of methods. My expertise extends from tape-in and k-tip to i-tip, beaded sew-in weft, hand-tied wefts, and micro weft ecru. I am also at the forefront of innovation with the revolutionary CombLine method, providing virtually undetectable hair extensions tailored for individuals experiencing thinning hair. Beyond my proficiency in women's hair enhancements, I am a specialist in HairSkeen, a dedicated hair replacement solution designed for men grappling with hair loss.

In 2011, Dolce Salon underwent a transformation, evolving into its current form—a luxurious 2500-square-foot hair salon and spa nestled in the heart of West Lake Hills in Austin, TX. Today, I am fortunate to lead an extraordinary team and serve an incredible clientele.

For me, it's not just about styling and coloring; it's about making the world a better place and ensuring each client's experience is unique. Beyond my professional expertise, clients have the opportunity to experience a genuine connection and the knowledge that goes beyond the surface.

From a young age, I was surrounded by strong, successful women who instilled in me the values of hard work and education. Both my mother and stepmother were accomplished hairstylists, and they became my greatest inspirations. Their dedication to their craft and their commitment to excellence set the foundation for my journey in the hair industry.

My career has taken me from the lush landscapes of the Pacific Northwest to owning my own salon. Along the way, I've had the privilege of delving deep into the world of hair color, thanks to my extensive education with renowned brands like Joico, Reune, and Tigi.

Color is my passion. From subtle highlights to bold color correction transformations, I thrive on the creativity and artistry that each client's unique vision presents. I love the challenge of turning hair woes into stunning masterpieces.

I also specialize in perms and hair extensions, offering tailored solutions using methods like tape-in, k-tip, i-tip, beaded sew-in weft, hand-tied weft, and micro weft. For me, it's all about finding what best suits my guests and helping them feel their absolute best.

Hi, I'm Emily, a hairstylist originally from El Paso who boldly ventured to Austin, Texas, seeking new horizons. I earned my cosmetology license in 2018 from El Paso Community College, and my passion for hair has fueled over 5 years of dedicated practice. 

My expertise lies in a diverse range of blonding hair coloring techniques, extending from highlights to balayage and encompassing color corrections. I am deeply committed to staying on top of the latest coloring trends, consistently updating my knowledge through participation in ongoing color classes.

With certification in tape-in extensions, I specialize in hair extensions, skillfully integrating them for those seeking to enhance the length and volume of their natural locks. Additionally, I excel in crafting long, textured, layered haircuts, bridal updos, and flawless makeup applications. I find immense joy in making people feel special and beautiful, inside and out, particularly on significant occasions like weddings, or other special events, like proms and photoshoots. 

My ultimate goal is to ensure that every client departs my chair feeling not just beautiful but also exuding confidence.

Hey y'all, I’m Nichele! I’ve been a hairstylist for 26 years. I grew up off and on with my Dad in Weatherford, Texas. I lived in Louisiana when I was younger where my Mom is from. I worked at a small salon in Weatherford before I decided to make a leap around 15 years ago to move to Austin. When I moved here I worked for HairClub for almost 10 years doing non-surgical hair replacement. I worked for a barbershop for a little over a year until I decided to go back to a salon! 

I love doing lived-in color and really any kind of dimensional highlighting. I’m really excited to get back to doing hair replacement again also! I’m certified in Aqua and Cinderella hair extensions. I’m also certified in Brazilian Blowout. 

My hobbies include working out, I love doing indoor cycling and spin. Besides the occasional pizza or burger, I do try to eat pretty healthy. I’ve always been athletic since high school. I’m a pretty competitive person with anything I do! I have a crazy frenchie named Romeo! He has a big personality and loves everyone! I’m always down for finding the best spots for an espresso martini!

Hi, I'm Alaura! I'm a hairstylist with a heart as big as the Texas sky, proud to call Austin home since 2023. I was born and raised amidst the coastal charm of Corpus Christi, and I bring a dash of warmth and southern hospitality to the Dolce Salon team. I started my hairstyling journey in 2021, driven by a hunger for personal and career growth. 

I excel in the realms of blondes, curly hair, hairstyling, and haircutting, showcasing expertise that extends across various areas. My proficiency in blonding is highlighted through my adeptness in balayages, foilyages, and highlights. In the cutting domain, my passion and skill shine through in curly hair, bob cuts, as well as textured, layered haircuts, like butterfly cuts and curtain bangs. I also offer hair extensions, and have experience in the tape-in, k-tip, and i-tip methods.

My journey as a stylist is more than just about transforming hair. What inspired me to become a hairstylist is my genuine desire to make women feel beautiful and foster lifelong relationships with women from all walks of life. It's not only about creating stunning hair; it's about sharing stories, learning from different life experiences, and sharing laughter along the way.

My venture into skincare unfolded in the early 2000s when I embarked on a journey to discover my passion. In 1999, I earned my degree in interior design and shortly after, realized my heart truly resonated with different passions. Venturing into esthetics, I pursued night classes and graduated from Jenissa Beauty Academy in Austin, TX. Post-graduation, I embarked on my career at Luxe Apothotique. However, the turning point came in 2005 when I discovered my true professional home at The Beauty Store in West Lake Hills. There, I dedicated 18 years of my life until their recent closure. Today, Dolce Salon stands as my new sanctuary.

Over the course of my career, I've garnered a wealth of certifications and immersed myself in a diverse range of classes, including Reflexology, DermAware Professional Skincare, Dermalogica Pro, and Yon Ka Paris training in California. My specialization extends to energy healing practices, featuring sound bath therapy, and the thoughtful integration of crystals into my facials. Committed to providing the most current and effective treatments, I prioritize continuous education, staying on top of the latest trends and techniques in the ever-evolving field of skincare.

Beyond the realm of skincare, I find joy in a variety of interests, including traveling, gardening, cooking, dancing, and reading.
