- Cris ColemanMaster Stylist, Colorist & Makeup Artist
*Cris is not accepting new clients, unless the service is for Hairskeen or CombLine, or through a referral.
Hello, I’m Cris, the proud Founder and Owner of Dolce Salon. I’m a seasoned Master Hair Stylist and Colorist, accomplished Makeup Artist, and dedicated Educator.
My journey in the beauty industry began at the age of 5, immersed in the lively atmosphere of a salon where I absorbed the transformative influence of my mother's work. In my early 20s, global travels became a catalyst for self-discovery, revealing my passion for creativity, knowledge, and education—qualities I was eager to share. The profound impact of beauty on a woman's confidence, self-esteem, and overall quality of life fueled my determination.
The virtues and talents of iconic figures like Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana, and Coco Chanel ignited my curiosity about the deeper meaning of beauty. After spending years in the Midwest telecommunications industry, I pursued my heart's calling, attending beauty school to become a manicurist, and propelling myself into a successful career as a nail technician.
In 2002, I returned to Texas, delving into the world of hair and makeup, and refining my skills in top Austin salons, including Saks Fifth Avenue. Behind the scenes of prestigious fashion shows and photo shoots for local magazines like Tribeza and Austin Monthly, I contributed to Austin's vibrant beauty scene. My expertise extended to aesthetics, makeup, and nails, shaping my vision for the dream salon I aspired to create.
Transitioning to Salon Si Beau of Westlake, I continued to elevate my experience in hair and makeup, and ventured into mastering the wedding industry. From a modest beginning, I now boast over a hundred weddings in my portfolio. Determination, ambition, and motivation steered me towards the realization of Dolce Salon in 2007, housed in a charming vintage building off of Lake Austin Blvd.
My commitment to excellence led me to enroll in numerous courses and certification programs, including an intensive cut and color training at Vivianne McKinder Hair Academy in New York City. My mastery extends to complex coloring techniques, artistic precision razor cutting, and specialization in various hair extension methods.
I excel in the realm of hair extensions, catering to both women and men with a diverse range of methods. My expertise extends from tape-in and k-tip to i-tip, beaded sew-in weft, hand-tied wefts, and micro weft ecru. I am also at the forefront of innovation with the revolutionary CombLine method, providing virtually undetectable hair extensions tailored for individuals experiencing thinning hair. Beyond my proficiency in women's hair enhancements, I am a specialist in HairSkeen, a dedicated hair replacement solution designed for men grappling with hair loss.
In 2011, Dolce Salon underwent a transformation, evolving into its current form—a luxurious 2500-square-foot hair salon and spa nestled in the heart of West Lake Hills in Austin, TX. Today, I am fortunate to lead an extraordinary team and serve an incredible clientele.
For me, it's not just about styling and coloring; it's about making the world a better place and ensuring each client's experience is unique. Beyond my professional expertise, clients have the opportunity to experience a genuine connection and the knowledge that goes beyond the surface.
Currently, I'm exclusively accepting new clientele for HairSkeen and CombLine services. However, I encourage you to explore the array of remarkably skilled, hand-picked members within our team to discover who aligns best with your needs. We cherish diversity not only in our stylists but also in their specialized services, aiming to provide each client with the ideal stylist match.

- Muffie PetersonMaster Stylist & Colorist
*Muffie is not accepting new clients at this time, unless it's through a referral.
I'm Muffie, a seasoned hairstylist with a passion for transforming hair into works of art. My journey in the world of hair started in 1978 when I graduated from Joliet Barber School in Illinois.
For the initial nine years of my career, I called City Hair in Seattle, Washington, my creative home. There, I specialized in hair coloring, chemical relaxers, and styling, gradually working my way up to the role of lead stylist. Feeling the call to share my knowledge, I transitioned into the role of an educator, affiliating myself with renowned brands like Joico and Paul Mitchell. This chapter took me around the world as a regional instructor, allowing me to absorb and share diverse hairstyling techniques.
During this educational phase, I didn't just stop at hairstyling—I pursued and earned my cosmetology license from SNUC Beauty School in Las Vegas. However, my heart eventually led me back to the salon chair, and for the following six years, I found my creative haven at Beauty World in Las Vegas, once again specializing in the art of hair coloring and chemical processing.
My journey continued as I planted roots in Texas, dedicating 23 years to a salon that sadly closed its doors. But every end marks a new beginning, and my next adventure unfolded at Dolce Salon. Along the way, I've gathered a wealth of certifications, including Aveda Colorist Certification, Schwarzkopf Color Education, and L'oreal Advanced Color and Foiling. My dedication to continuous improvement is reflected in numerous hair cutting classes, such as those with Paul Mitchell and the Asis Cutting Technique.
Beyond the world of hair, I hold a deep passion for learning. In fact, I've earned multiple fitness training certificates and spent several years as a personal trainer simultaneously with my hairstyling career. Adding a touch of sparkle to my diverse interests, I also graduated from the Gemological Institute of America.
In my personal life, I am happily married with a wonderful son. My journey in the beauty industry has been marked by creativity, dedication, and a commitment to ongoing education. I am excited to bring my wealth of experience and love for the craft to each client's unique style at Dolce Salon.

Hi! I'm Ashlee Renae, and my journey into the world of hair began during high school when I started working in a salon. The vibrant atmosphere and the joy of witnessing people feel beautiful captivated me instantly. Growing up, I always enjoyed adding my personal touch to clothing, creating a unique style that reflected my individuality. Changing my hair and immersing myself in the salon environment became a cherished part of my identity.
Being a dancer and deeply involved in the arts, hair became another creative outlet that intrigued me. Post high school, I pursued my passion at The Aveda Institute, completing my education in 2020. Following that, I worked as an assistant at the salon where I initially started, under the guidance of a stylist I admired greatly. She imparted valuable lessons, and I continue to learn from her to this day.
I actively engaged in various hair styling and coloring classes, and am excited to continue to refine my hair expertise through shadowing fellow stylists and educators.
With five years in the salon environment and three years as a stylist, I can confidently say that there's nothing else I'd rather be doing. My passions and specialities lie in blonding, color corrections, fantasy hair color, and layered haircuts, including classic layers, as well as trending styles, such as the butterfly cut. I also offer a variety of hair extension techniques, including tape-in, I-tip, beaded sew-in weft, and hand-tied weft extensions.
Making people feel beautiful, heard, and understood is my mission with every client who sits in my chair.
Beyond hair, I've transformed my love for personal style into a small business called Not Ur Friend, where I resell and rework clothing. Sustainability and conscious shopping are principles I uphold, aiming to combat fast fashion and contribute to reducing clothing pollution.
- Alaura AlamilloJunior Stylist & Colorist
Hi, I'm Alaura! I'm a hairstylist with a heart as big as the Texas sky, proud to call Austin home since 2023. I was born and raised amidst the coastal charm of Corpus Christi, and I bring a dash of warmth and southern hospitality to the Dolce Salon team. I started my hairstyling journey in 2021, driven by a hunger for personal and career growth.
I excel in the realms of blondes, curly hair, hairstyling, and haircutting, showcasing expertise that extends across various areas. My proficiency in blonding is highlighted through my adeptness in balayages, foilyages, and highlights. In the cutting domain, my passion and skill shine through in curly hair, bob cuts, as well as textured, layered haircuts, like butterfly cuts and curtain bangs. I also offer hair extensions, and have experience in the tape-in, k-tip, and i-tip methods.
My journey as a stylist is more than just about transforming hair. What inspired me to become a hairstylist is my genuine desire to make women feel beautiful and foster lifelong relationships with women from all walks of life. It's not only about creating stunning hair; it's about sharing stories, learning from different life experiences, and sharing laughter along the way.
I believe that women often carry numerous roles in their lives, whether as mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, leaders, aunts, workers, or friends. In the midst of juggling these roles, it's easy to forget self-care, and that's perfectly okay. It's this understanding that fuels my passion for the beauty industry. I know the importance of restoring someone's light and confidence, and it means everything to me. To me, being a hairstylist is not just a job; it's a calling to empower and bring back the glow to those who deserve it most.
Beyond the salon chair, I thrive on keeping busy. My hobbies include embracing the great outdoors, finding solace in nature's beauty, and sewing, where my creative spirit runs free.
