Wherever you are, be there totally.
~ Eckhart TolleCris was raised in a salon environment starting at the early age of 5, where she was exposed to the power of the beauty industry by observing her mother's work. In her early 20’s, she traveled the world and truly discovered who she was and wanted to become. She discovered that her creativity, knowledge and education are qualities that she wanted to share with others. She observed how the essence of beauty can greatly impact a woman’s confidence, self esteem and overall quality of life.
The virtues, talents of Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana and Coco Chanel have all impacted her curiosity of what beauty really means.
Before moving back to Austin, Cris spent several years in the Midwest working in the telecommunications industry to then deciding to go to beauty school and become a manicurist. Her career took off as soon as she graduated and became an independent contractor and became a specialist for sculptured nails. After many years of deliberating, it was time to move back to Texas and go to school for cosmetology. Cris spent several years in some of Austin’s top salons, such as Saks Fifth Avenue where she worked behind the scenes of Austin’s most prestigious fashion shows sponsored by charity organizations i.e. (March of Dimes, Susan G. Komen, Austin’s Dancing with the Stars, and Austin Children’s Shelter ). She worked numerous photo shoots for magazines most of which were local such as Tribeza, Austin Monthly, Brilliant, and many more. In addition to her hairstyling experience at Sak’s, she also worked in aesthetics, makeup and nails, all of which helped her facilitate what she wanted to offer in her dream salon.
After leaving Sak’s Fifth Avenue she switched to a new path as an independent hair stylist at Salon Si Beau of Westlake. It was there that Cris not only continued to compliment her hairstyling with nail art, but ventured out to master the wedding industry. Starting with just a few friends, Cris now has over a hundred weddings under her belt. Her determination, ambition and motivation are what kept her on the right path to the future opening of Dolce Salon. In 2007 she took a leap of faith and started Dolce in a small vintage house off of Lake Austin Blvd turning her dream into reality. During this time she took numerous courses enrolling in multiple certification programs for cut and color. She attended an intensive cut and color training course at Vivianne Mckinder Hair Academy in New York City where she mastered alternative complex colors and artistic precision razor cutting styles for modern trends and techniques. She has perfected the art of extensions and is a top specialist in several hair extension types such as Hot Heads and is certified in Great Lengths Extensions.
With Cris it all comes down to making the world a better place and making each and every one of her clients experience the best it can be. Not only will you receive professional, top of the line styling, coloring and consulting, but you will get the chance to experience her inner beauty, fountain of wisdom, and a chance to spend time with a genuinely kind and warm soul.

Only when you can be extremely pliable and soft can you be extremely hard and strong.
~ Zen ProverbPedro Boelitz was born in Brazil, to a Brazilian mother and German father, and exemplifies a combination of cultures and cultural diversity growing up in Brazil with European refinement coupled with a passionate Brazilian nature. Pedro has an extensive history in the fashion industry, having owned his own multi-location clothing company in Brazil, which led him on many trips throughout Europe and the Middle East to work with several of the fashion industry’s top designers, making his shops some of the most elite in the region.
In 2003, Pedro decided to embark on a new adventure moving to Austin, Texas which he found similar to his home in Brazil in both the climate and the open friendly nature of its people. In making Austin his new home, Pedro wanted to continue his passion of enhancing people to look and feel their best, and with that, Pedro made the decision to obtain his cosmetology license and make a transition from fashion into the world of hair and beauty. Pedro’s innate sense of design has shaped his abilities as a stylist, to have already received several awards and recognition for his work to date. Pedro is looking forward to making all of his clients realize their passions – by assisting them in achieving their best selves – and enjoying his stories and experience from Brazil and around the world.

Kali is a native Texan from Magnolia. Growing up she developed a love for horses and began her early working life as a riding instructor and horse trainer. She competed in barrel races and was a team member of the Lonestar Cowgirls. After high school she worked as a mounted security officer and drove horse drawn wagons and carriages for special occasions, events, and parades throughout Texas. In 2012 she moved to Mississippi where she continued her experience in the event world as the event coordinator for Beauvoir, a non-profit historical home on the coast. There she created many new events, programs and implemented a brand-new wedding protocol for the non-profit. Kali quickly became a talented "day of" wedding coordinator and this is where she got her first taste as a hair and makeup artist on many occasions touching up a bride's hair and or makeup which got the wheels turning. After a few years of doing this, she satisfied her craving to move to the vibrant city of New Orleans and made the move for another career change... as a hairstylist.
In 2016 Kali attended the local Aveda Institute of New Orleans where her passion to create beauty and happiness through hair blossomed. After graduation she moved back to the Mississippi coast and found a home at a well-known salon just over the state line in Slidell, Louisiana. Because of her love to never quit learning and desire to make the people around her as happy and self-confident as she can, she became an accomplished hair replacement and extension specialist along with quickly moving into the role of lead stylist for the salon. Her education and knowledge of hair thinning solutions allowed her to also participate in educating fellow stylists at not only her salon but stylists all over the country in this specialized training.
Kali decided in 2022 that it was time to come home to Texas with her Corgi pup - Athena and her two horses. She is overjoyed to be back with her family and loves being back to enjoy all the outdoor activities Austin has to offer. She discovered Dolce salon and it had become the perfect match made in heaven. Kali is looking forward to furthering her career and education in the beauty industry with the Dolce Salon team and cannot wait to serve all the wonderful people of Austin with her personality, experiences and skills in hair styling, color, hair restoration and extensions. Please come and experience the gifts that Kali has and loves to share with others.

Hello I’m Kymberly Aviles. I graduated Regency Beauty institute 2013 and continued my education at Bevelle Barber school in 2021 to perfect my skills. I’m a mom who’s learned patience through parenting. My daughters continue to show me the true definition of unconditional love. I also have two dogs, Max and Mia, who are a great addition to my little family. It’s a party of six. I embrace the beauty in different cultures, which brings a unique quality to my vision as a hairstylist. I’ve worked with all types of hair and enjoy doing different kinds of cuts. Throughout my years of working as a hairstylist, hair lightning has become my best known specialty, so if you’re in need of a balayage, highlights, or just color, give me a call!
- Abbeye KunzSenior Stylist/ColoristAbbeye KunzSenior Stylist/Colorist
Hi, I’m Abbeye Kunz. I just moved to Austin from the Dallas area and I’m so excited to finally be here!!! I would describe myself as eccentric and eclectic! I absolutely love fashion, beauty, and art. I graduated from Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in 2007 and from there started working as a cutting specialist and manager at an exclusive all natural salon called Suavizar in Allen, Texas. At this time, I had multiple training sessions with Kevin Murphy himself, as well as with Robear Landeros, a celebrity stylist, to perfect my training and set a good foundation for my artistry.
In 2009, I went back to school to get certified as a cosmetology instructor. From there I began teaching as well as opening my own salon space. I was signed as a hair and make-up artist, as well as a model and actress for multiple production companies and modeling agencies. In 2015, my salon space received the “Best of Allen Award” in the Beauty Salons category. At my salon I worked as an expert cutting specialist, session stylist (up-do’s), and master colorist.
I have worked with Domestic Violence foundations, helping women who developed the courage to break free from their situations and assisting them in raising their confidence levels to new heights. I would say my language of love and passion is encouraging others of the power of their potential and who they truly are at their core. I would like to think of myself as being a transformational artist. As a hair artist, my ultimate desire is to find a way to help a person discover more about his or her personality and divine inner self by revealing their natural inner beauty and allowing it to surface through their personal appearance. I would also add that my most requested specialty is working with vivid, creative hair color.
In 2020 I went back to the classroom and took several courses to become certified as the following: Reiki Master, Shaman Practitioner, Akashic Records Reader, Crystal healer, Advanced Energy Specialist, Hypnotist, and Astrologist. I perform these services in person, as well as long distance, which allows me to work with people from all around the world. I embrace the learning of many different cultures into my own as I practice holistic medicine, as well as homeschool my two kiddos! In my spare time you can catch me outdoors – anywhere there is music or creativity taking place.
I say all of these things because I love growing as a person in all areas of my life and that personal growth is equally important to me.

Hello, I’m Ashley Amalia! I am a mama to my beautiful daughter, Amalia. She is my biggest supporter and fun fact, she is named after me! Amalia is actually one of my middle names. I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago. I decided to venture out of the freezing cold to Nashville in 2018 where I was waitressing in the heart of downtown Nashville. I got to meet people from all over the world and loved every minute of it. I decided I wanted more adventure, so I ventured off to Austin in 2019. I have always had a huge passion for fashion, makeup, and nails, but nails were my calling. I was here in Austin for about 8 months before the pandemic hit and the world shut down, and that’s when I made my passion into my career! I taught myself how to do nails by watching a lot of YouTube videos and joining Facebook nail groups. I decided to take my passion for nails one step further and find an all nail school. I attended BGM Science of Beauty and Business in Dallas, TX. During my time in nail school I discovered that not everyone could get their nails done due to their work or medical conditions. I didn’t think it was fair those individuals had to shy away from being pampered - we all deserve to be pampered! That’s when I spent countless hours coming up with my custom, reusable press on nails. They are fully customizable, reusable, salon quality that you can apply and remove within 20 minutes in the comfort of your own home. I hand-craft each and every set! I also discovered many individuals had damaged nails from nail salons, which is sad to hear, but happens more often than you think. That’s when I decided I wanted to specialize in natural nails. I work with regular polish and gel polish aside from creating press on nails. I take pride in caring for and bringing back to life nails that are damaged, all while providing high quality work/service each time! I love to get to know each of my client’s one on one and care for their nails how they need, not how everyone needs. Everyone’s nails are different and each client needs their own nail care plan. I use and suggest specific products and treatments based off of your individual nail needs and I love being able to educate my clients on basic natural nail care. Cause who doesn’t love healthy natural nails?! I can’t wait to meet each and every one of you and care for your beautiful, healthy natural nails!!
